High school journalist, Meg Little, decides to get her Nancy Drew on after witnessing the accident of classmate, and Haverton Prep's star equestrian, Margaret Bean, mere weeks before regionals. Someone cut Margaret's saddle and Meg's pretty sure the culprit is none other than Margaret's own teammate, and vicious Queen Bee, Kitty Cooper. Meg must prove Kitty is the saddle saboteur before regionals and stop her from winning a medal she doesn't deserve or else the mean girls of Haverton will triumph and continue their little reign of terror over the entire student body.
