I loved this series!!
Sometimes your chosen family can be better than your biological one & in Lily’s case this is definitely true. Her mother is a huge bit because Lily doesn’t fit the perfect mold she expects but Lily finds solace in her BFF, Kat’s home. She’s welcomed into the Donnelly family & crushed on Kat’s older brother since childhood.
When that brother comes home after a career-ending injury, broken down mentally & physically, Lily steps up. And in turn, Jude helps her stand up to her bio family & become part of her chosen family.
I loved these two!! Both had baggage & found that it was much easier to carry it together! The perfect small town, BFF’s sibling, age gap story.
Amazing
Well this is one tough review. I can never relate so much to a character than Jude. The same thoughts, behavior towards his family after the injury. I kept reading and crying. Seeing it in a different point of view is hard even as I’m going through it.
I love her books there is always something anyone can relate and this book is no exception. The flow of the story and the development of the characters is nice. I never thought that is the story of the brother because in some of her other stories he is mention but not often. It’s amazing how each characters has their own issues and they come together to help fix it. Love it.
Thank you for letting me read this story and can’t wait for the next one.

Jude is deliciously grumpy in all the best ways. Lily gives him the perfect mix of sunshine and warmth while keeping him in line.
Can’t forget the adorable foster kitten that will steal your heart like it did to Jude.
This story was easy to get swept up in. It has great banter, connection, communication, and of course steam.
The Donnellys are everything you want from a small-town family; warm, loving, welcoming, and devoted.
