This church is haunted.
For Dalton, the son of a preacher man, a longing to serve both his family and his God may be the thin difference between expectation and salvation.
However, when Dalton learns of his brotherʼs kidnapping by a sadistic witch, the unraveling of his familyʼs dark past becomes all too clear. Like a lamb to the slaughter, Dalton bravely wages war on the forces of evil that have plagued his family for generations, and ultimately, confronts his own destiny while his brotherʼs soul hangs in the balance.
Fighting a war in the hellscape of his fatherʼs church, Dalton must challenge the sinister witch, a legion of demonic creatures, and the ghosts of his familyʼs past before Hell lays claim to its latest victim.
Ensnared in the confrontation of truth and the veil of a hidden past, Dalton learns that ultimately he is the key to abolishing the darkness inside the church.
Customer Reviews
Compelling & thought-provoking
“Prey Without Ceasing” is so far outside my usual scope of interest. I read corny, “feel good” books. However, this book surprised me. I was immediately drawn in due to having a religious background myself. I felt I was able to identify with Dalton’s struggle about being told what is right and doing what you feel is right. Figuring out why you believe what you believe is so important. Dalton faces a war within himself that so many of us can relate to and watching his character unfold only leaves you wanting to continue on his journey with him long after you finished reading. Franks writing is compelling and thought-provoking. He keeps you guessing and constantly rooting for Dalton. You’ll find yourself invested in the characters and feeling the same defeat/triumph they feel. This is a story for Christians and non-Christians, as we’ve all experienced a similar struggle like Dalton. This book did not disappoint and I’m anxious to see what this author does next.
Highly recommend!
