Ground-breaking series
Pride High is loads of fun, quirky with dialog and action packed. I've loved every issue of this series and wish there was more! I believe people of all orientations can enjoy this book LGBTQSW (lesbian, gay, bi, trans, queen, straight, whatever).
An Indie "New Mutants"
If you loved the soap opera melodrama of the teen-oriented "New Mutants" comics then you should definitely give this series a try, especially if you're someone who appreciates a diverse cast and old-school storytelling. Pride High is scrappy and rough around the edges, but really warm, inviting and fun. (And there's a free Pride High #1 issue on iTunes to try out if you want a taste before diving in to a full collection!)
