Prior Analytics

Aristotle didn't become one of the most renowned Greek philosophers for nothing. Nearly 2,000 years before Descartes came up with the scientific method, Aristotle wrote Prior Analytics, a work about deductive reasoning. Along with Posterior Analytics, this was part of the Organon, which was Aristotle's manual of logical and scientific methods.
