Love Wins
This is the final book in Callie Hutton’s fabulous Prisoner of Love Series. These stories follow four brave women on a journey to start new lives far away from all their sorrow and heartache. Nellie, their chaperone from the wagon train journey is a former brothel owner who saw her business burn to the ground, she is asked to aid the younger women by the Sheriff. Seeing this as her chance start fresh somewhere new she agrees. After seeing the young women married and settled she buys the bed & breakfast she stays in and to make ends meet she starts a mail order bride service, although content something is missing from her life. Enter Dane, the sheriff who helped the ladies now retired, he comes to town to see Nellie. Having loved her for years he is determined to marry her. Things do not go as planned however, with some drama and legal matters to get in the way of our couple’s happiness. Eventually Dane proves to Nellie that love is possible and when all barriers are removed they find their happy ever after. This is a great end to the series, previous characters appear letting us see how they have faired, I am so glad to finally get to read Nellie’s story. Callie delivers as always, great characters and good stories. I highly recommend this series. Although I received an advanced reader copy this is my true and honest review.
