Private Lives

"Private Lives" is considered by many critics to be Noël Coward's masterpiece. Billed as an Intimate Comedy in Three Acts, it tells the story of Elyot Chase and Amanda Prynne, a previously married couple who divorced years earlier and are now on honeymoon with their respective new spouses. Having checked into the same hotel without the others' knowledge, Elyot and Amanda spy each other from their adjoining hotel room balconies and this coincidence kicks off a comedy of manners, marriage and the power of fate. "Private Lives" is presented in its original and unabridged format.
