Privilege of Serving

Privilege of Serving challenges the normal assumption. Most people instinctively think: Serving = something I have to give. But the book gradually reveals: Serving = something God graciously allows me to receive. And it doesn't make that claim cheaply.

This poetry collection acknowledges money, time, tiredness, inconvenience, lack of recognition, correction, boredom, emotional dryness, and sacrifice before arriving at "privilege." Come and explore the Poems About the Cost, Joy, and Blessing of Serving God and Others.
