Proceedings of Qatar Foundation Annual Research Conference 2013

The Qatar Foundation Annual Research Conference 2013 on “Qatar’s Cross-cutting Research Grand Challenges” began with a reminder that Qatar had taken upon itself the commitment to be a leadership center for innovation, research and development. This year, Qatar continues its mission, with a goal of regional prosperity. The audience was challenged to work side-by-side to discuss pivotal issues such as protecting cyber infrastructure, developing solar energy solutions, guaranteeing the provision of food in a sustainable way, and supporting Arab culture in the arts, media and language.
