This book begins an important conversation regarding the roles and responsibilities of professionals to their communities, particularly to their future generations. Before they can appreciate these roles and responsibilities, they must understand what genuine professionalism actually entails and must endeavour to be consummate professionals in the various fields where they are deployed. The book laments the alarming erosion of true professionalism and points out that mere accumulation of certificates/degrees does not make one a professional but a learned, uneducated person.
