In quiet corners, mice began to talk of the old times, when there was disease, starvation, sword-fights, dying in battle, fleas, martyrdom and a general sense of chivalry and pride about everything - a time when the name of Du-Paucy meant something.' The House of Commons is where Britain's elected politicians go to make laws for us. All of those politicians, at least the good ones, are allowed a room of their own in the Palace of Westminster, which is where the House of Commons is. Not many people know that one of those rooms isn't run by a politician anymore...It's run by MICE! And the big, honcho mouse is Gladstone McWhiskers, known as the 'Mouse of Commons'. But there are people who want to seize power away from him.
