Really good, but...
This is an excellent introduction to objective C. I had some programming experience, but C was still pretty foreign to me. This book provided a great primer for understanding the lingo of obj-C starting with the very basics. However, just be aware that, at the end of the book, you'll program a calculator. You'll be able to use buttons and labels. Thats about it I tried to set up a simple picker (the slot machine things) and I have no idea what I'm doing and can't get it to work. So, this book will get you off to a great start, but you'll have a long way to go even after you've finished the whole thing.
Great book
Great book for learning objective-c, even for beginners.
Could have had more information on using Xcode but there are other titles that go into more depth on the use of the developer tools.
DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO THOSE NEGATIVE REVIEWS!!
Ratings should be based on the content/quality of the books, not on the price compared to other sources.
Besides iBooks has a much better layout and interface compared to the kindle app, and includes an integrated book store.
