Publisher Description

As a divorced single father, I live by three rules:
1. Make sure every day my daughter, Paisley, knows she's number one in my life. No. Matter. What.
2. Keep contact with my cheating ex-wife to a minimum.
3. Turn Maxwell Wineries into a legacy that keeps Paisley set for life.

When I hire Lexi to look after my daughter, I realize I need another rule: don't pursue Paisley's nanny. But even if I had that rule it wouldn't matter. Because I'm breaking it already.

A charming story

He’s such devoted single father to his daughter! And though he has a big family, he needs someone to help him watch and play with her during the summer. And who else is better for the position than an actual caring teacher looking for some extra side money! The chemistry is undeniable but both need to keep the daughter’s feelings in mind before they pursue anything together! Lots of stolen looks, a few stolen kisses .. the book had me smiling from the start! And I love the side characters! Cannot wait to read their stories!

5 Stars

5+ Stars. I’d give 10 if I could.

I am truly swooning. Lexi and Tate are just perfection. I felt everything, I even sobbed with Lexi. Their banter at the beginning to Lexi’s love for Tate’s daughter completely did me in. Both sides of the family are just amazing. There’s enough right there to make me happy, but nope she brings the drama too. Loved this so hard.

Once again Layla has done a phenomenal job at writing a love story that everyone will obsess over. This one has left me with a book hangover, honestly it’s been a very long time since I’ve had one. I’ve very excited about this book and this new series. Them Maxwell brothers are all swoony and fun.
