Prime Minister Alessandro Medici-Visconti has his work cut out for him. Italy is under threat of terrorist attacks—attacks like the one which injured his love, Alessia Ferrara, and caused the loss of her memory.

That attack brought the two lovers back together—but the danger of more threatens to break them apart all over again. Alessandro is barely willing to let Alessia out into daylight. He just wants to protect her; yet Alessia only feels suffocated.
