Publisher Description

I've been in love with Luke Daniels since, well, forever. As his sister's best friend, I've spent over a decade living in the friend zone, watching from the sidelines hoping he would notice me, pick me, love me.

I want the fairy tale and Luke is my Prince Charming. He's tall, with shoulders so broad he blocks out the sun. He's kind with a smile so dazzling he makes me forget everything that's wrong in the world. And he's the only man that can make me laugh until my cheeks hurt and my stomach cramps.

But he'll never be mine.

So I've decided to get on with my life and find the next best thing.

Until a Wonder Woman costume, a bottle of tequila and a game of truth or dare happened.

Then Luke's licking salt from my wrist and telling me I'm beautiful.

Then he's peeling off my clothes and pressing his lips against mine.

Then what? Is this the start of my happily ever after or the beginning of a tragedy?

Promised nights

I absolutely hated Ashleigh’s character. She was so stop and go and up and down. I didn’t understand why he wanted to be with her...I didn’t get the appeal. Life with her would be extremely frustrating and annoying!

Yes and No

I love a good friends to lovers story. However, ugh, it was overshadowed by the moron of a heroine, Ashleigh.

She was so up & down through the entire book, it was eye rolling-ly annoying. Back & forth with her bs. And what I hated most about her came near the end. {spoiler} she finds out some news & decides she's gonna peace out to 'save' him. 😡 she wants you to think its a selfless act but it's the action of a selfish coward. You're nearly 30!!! Communicate with your lover. And the epilogue... It was sickeningly cliche & corny.

(side note: The personalities of Haven & Jake's personalities didn't transfer over. They became cliche, no wit, no charm, nothing like in the first book; just bleh.)

I hated the back & forth bs. Ash wants them to date but she's all over him like white on rice. Make up your mind, stop sending mixed signals! I hate that I took a chance & paid 3.99 for crap.
Read at your own risk.
