Brenna handled weird well, like really well. When her boyfriend told her he was a mermaid she didn't freak out, not even when he grew an actual tail. But being kidnapped by mermen… merpeople… Vatnfirar? That was pushing it, even for her. Now she's got two options, stay with the fish people and her now ex-boyfriend and his 'true love', or go home with no guarantees that the memory spell that will make her forget about the Vatnfirar won't also leave her with no memories since she met Dylan… which was when she was a tween.

Kai was meant to marry princess Unnr, it had been organised for years, and then she went ahead and saved a human and now it was all ruined. His entire future was destroyed because apparently she loved the human, and to add insult to injury he had been the one to bring the human, who was now somehow Vatnfirar, back to Hlessy, along with his confused, fiery, and unusually attractive human girlfriend.
