Promises

It kept my attention. I would have liked more interaction between the main characters. The ending was good.

Great story!

First time ever reading from this author, and this series was great. Lots of twist SL and turns to keep up with, but the ending made it worth it! I rated 4 stars only because the steam scenes could have been steamier, but I still loved this series!

Promises

I love this author, and usually I can honestly give 5 stars. Book 1 had me enthralled, Book 2 was losing me, but usually I can be recaptured, Book 3 fell flat and totally lost all momentum. The whole background was never completely disclosed, and while the author tried to create the twist and turns involved in a really good book, it just never reached the level normally expected. I easy put the book down, and actually skimmed through pages. The background was never fully explained, and the ending was felt rushed. Somewhere along the long, the relationship between the two main characters got completely lost and was almost a side note. I cannot imagine the work that goes into writing books, so I am careful about my reviews as I think anyone who has this ability is truly talented, but in providing a review, I feel it is necessary to be honest with readers: I couldn’t wait for this book to end. If you are looking for just the typical HEA, you might be happy with it like any Harlequin Romance or other out there, but that is not my forte.
