Despite some strained logic and wayward plot threads, readers will gulp this one down and eagerly await Kosmatka's next "what if."

Chilling Science Thriller
Marvelous science, gripping storyline, chilling suspense because it's very believe able. Great job! Excellent work great of fiction that was really hard to put down. Read it, you won't regret it!
My opinion…buy at your own risk
I LOVED….Kosmatka’s book The Games.(I recommend looking at that book before venturing into this one) I loved The Games so much that I’ve read it several times. Prophet of Bones was full of scientific mumble jumble that was way over my head. I skipped MANY pages. I couldn’t figure out how one store line fed into the other. I still don’t know what the big secret was. I felt I wasted my money and really wish I could get a refund.

Let me say first I have not finished a book in years. My attention span is short. However, this book was outstanding. I read it in three days. I am a very busy mother of 4 girls and a full time university student and I could not put this book down or wait to get back to it. It is well research and quite delicious in plot, theory, and characters. I hope to read more from this author.
