A page turner from the beginning, I liked the characters a lot, especially Chad Palmer. His intelligence, smooth and charm made him an ideal man to be able to straddle many political fences and keep his eyes open and facing forward. I learned a lot about late term abortion, about which I knew nothing. I learned even more about the inner workings of the Senate and the White House, some of which I wish I didn’t know.

Realy well researched book. Anyone interested in the political and legal posturing by Congress will be unable to put this book down! Even though the book is a work of fiction, the maneuvering by the members of Congress is based on real strategies. The personal conflicts are fought wil spellbinding details. Other than a murder mystery, you won't find better intrique anywhere.
