Customer Reviews
Ms. Sax’s books never disappoint!
Odium is a very dominant male who will never let his Briella think herself faulty in any way. I love their story and Briella’s bold approach to rescuing beings. She’s amazing! Briella’s performance in a mock battle is stunning and wins the regard of many cyborgs. Odium is the perfect male for her. They share some heart-stopping adventures and the love of their lifetimes. Excellent reading! I can’t wait for more in this new series!
Not enough action and too much “reprimanding”
Like the rest of this series, the world building and creativity is great. This book didn’t have as much action but it still would’ve been an engaging read if it wasn’t for Briella constantly being “reprimanded” and “trained”. And I’m not picking on a couple steamy moments, it’s every single interaction they have. When Briella is reprimanded for simply sharing her opinion or asking questions it officially crosses the creep line for me, no matter now much she “craves it”. Made it hard to respect either character and was completely distracting.
