A magickal adventure
I've never been a fan of adventure-style literature, at least not until I decided to buy this novel.
Thompson manages in her opening chapter to completely engross the reader into this parallel world of magick, fascinating creatures, and human intrigue.
I could not stop reading this book - from the relatable characters to the addictive storylines.
The author is able to immerse the reader comfortably into her world, weaving a colorful tapestry of ingenious storytelling and richly devised characters. The ending has me ravenous for the next installment!
