When Julie agrees to be Garth Forrester’s sub she gets a whole lot more than she bargained for.  She always knew punishment would be a part of it.  She’s prepared herself for physical punishment but emotional punishment is a whole different ball game.  How can she survive with a man who is bent on breaking her spirit, especially when it’s a man she loves?

Garth Forrester hates the very thought of being weak.  When he finds himself falling head over heels in love with his sub he knows he’s in a whole lot of trouble.  He tries to distance himself from her, keep her as his submissive without allowing her to dominate his heart.  When that doesn’t work, when he finds he can’t get enough of her, he tries another tactic.  He’s already fallen in love with her but what if he prevents her from falling in love with him?  It’s the only way he can protect his heart.
