Puppy Love and Panic is a gem of a cozy mystery with a talking dog and a clever sleuth! This well plotted mystery kept turning pages to see what would happen next as Gina protects her son, saves a puppy from the dumpster, deals with the reappearance of her mother, and tries to clear her son of murder. There are plenty of suspects to keep you guessing. This is a highly entertaining book!
A mother’s nightmare
Gina is living in a nightmare her boy Jacob has been charged with murder. There’s no way her sweet kid committed this crime so she needs to find out who, while keeping him safe from the inept and vindictive sheriff. With a very unexpected visit and a hyperactive puppy she’s got a lot to juggle, but a mother’s got to do what a mother’s got to do.
This was a story full of surprises. Some good, some bad some eh. I felt for Gina she tries so hard and to have her kid in this situation is surreal. There were plenty of twists and a slew of suspects and an investigation that had to be conducted under the radar. Great story and a doozy of an ending!.
