Quant Review: Math for MBA's

You’ve just been accepted to the graduate school of business and have started down the path of earning your Master of Business Administration degree.  You are looking forward to the challenges ahead, but you are anxious about one thing.  It’s been a long time since you did any serious math.  The last time you saw Calculus, it was as an undergrad and you haven’t touched it since.  Learning Finance and Accounting will be hard enough without trying to remember how to do the math at the same time.  Maybe it’s time to do a quick review before classes start, but you don’t have a lot of time left.


Quant Review: Math for MBA’s focuses on the math needed for business, avoiding unnecessary topics.  There are no proofs and no derivations.  Math jargon is minimized, and the subjects are covered in plain language.  Yes, the steps for working out the problems are covered, but most importantly, the emphasis is on how to interpret the results. 


The text is intended for those who have prior exposure to algebra, geometry, calculus, and basic statistics, but need to refresh their knowledge of these subjects and fill gaps in understanding.
