Quantum Connections

The poetry in “Quantum Connections” contrasts the very small as reflected in the Quantum world with the very large as seen best with the Hubble telescope and looks for ways to connect these extremes with the creativity of the human mind as a bridging element.  The poetry also plays with the words and weird ideas of the Quantum world and the cosmic structures observed both back in time and beyond our comprehension in distance away from us.  It seemed appropriate to offer this poetry in a non-linear hypermedia style with most of the poems contained in this iChapbook able to be read in several different tracks with more than several different meanings.  The use of hyperlinks has also been employed to make easier the jumps needed in a non-linear hypermedia environment from one poetry track to a different but parallel reading track.  The poetic text is juxtaposed with stunning images from the Hubble as well as other satellites which look at earth as if from an out-of-mind’s eye.  All the poetic text has been included as overlay on images and also as only text beneath the images so they can be read by Voiceover for those who are visually impaired or blind.
