Publisher Description

From USA Today bestselling author Christina A. Burke comes the third installment in her wacky, romantic comedy series about the misadventures of wannabe rock star, Diana Hudson...

For temp-turned-rock-star, Diana Hudson, touring with a Pirate Rock band has been a whirlwind. The Pirate-Heads' Bash in Key West is the last stop on their tour, and she's ready to hang up her sword and play house in Annapolis, Maryland with her uber-sexy boyfriend, Mark Greene. But her plans hit a sour note when Diana receives sinister scrapbook pages depicting her demise. A series of near-miss accidents and a meeting with an old enemy confirm she's on borrowed time. Hunted by a hitman known only as The Spider, Diana and Mark embark on a madcap adventure to outwit the unseen predator. Instead of rest and relaxation after the long tour, Diana finds herself battling pirates at sea, dodging explosions, and hiding out with The Grands. Will Diana uncover the identity of the hitman before he finds her? Or has she already been snared in The Spider's sinuous web?

"I love 'Queenie Baby' Diana Hudson! She's one part Stephanie Plum and one part rock goddess, and I can't wait to see what she does next!"

Funny! Exciting & great for a sunny day by the pool!

I received* this book as a gift. I've not read any of the other books in the series YET! but plan on it as soon as possible! I really enjoyed "Queenie Baby: On Tour" it was funny, suspenseful, had cute guys & a great plot! This book was able to be understood without having to have read the others in the series. You understood everything that was going on. I love the idea of a pirate band! Awesome! Adding in romance & intrigue just added to the fun of the book. Definitely read "Queenie Baby: On Tour"! I'd also recommend the first books of the series just because this one was so good!(I'm reading them now!) I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did!
*This book was given to me for an honest review which I have given to the best of my ability :-)

Great Fun!

I just finished Queenie Baby On Tour and loved it as much as the previous two in the series! Diana Hudson is a great, though reluctant heroine, and her wacky family and friends add to the adventure(s). This book not only has adventure, but it also has romance (with her great smelling boyfriend, Mark) and plenty of humor courtesy of her "Grands". My favorite character has to be Carlos, the pirate, with his swashbuckling ways and "Arrg" talk. I can picture him so vividly and he certainly adds to the fun! This is a series you don't want to miss! ENJOY! Please keep bringing us more crazy adventures with Queenie Baby and her crew, Christina!

Hilarious Adventures

Diana, a temp-turned-part-owner of Greene's Staffing Services, has finally been able to pursue her dream as a professional singer. As part of the band for Carlos, famous for his rock-hard abs as much as for singing Diana's "The Rum Song," she is able to tour and perform for undeniably enthusiastic audiences. There are its downsides, though, being that she is away from her home in Annapolis, has to don a pirate's hat, and must continually dodge Carlos's many groupies. Fortunately, there is just the Pirate-Heads' Bash in Key West to get through before she can return home to her secure job and her real estate developer boyfriend Mark.

Life can never be that easy though. Upon getting herself roofied (luckily her bodyguard Andre was on hand), Diana manages to convince her entourage - consisting primarily of her eternally bratty sister Ashley - that she wasn't having a drunken episode but was actually drugged. A missive from a vengeful inmate who has had second thoughts informs her that he had hired The Spider to take out a hit on Diana, and unfortunately once on assignment he can't be turned off.

Mark, an ex-CIA who seems all too eager to get back in the field, attempts to coach Diana into behaving like she's in hiding; with pretty abysmal results, thanks to Twitter. Perhaps that helps to explain why Diana agrees to take over as a supervisor at a tampon factor and why even hiding out in a retirement community with her grandparents seems like a viable option.

Humor leads the way in this fun and frothy suspense novel. With the characters seemingly unwilling to take the danger seriously it's impossible for the reader to do so either. Ashley's snark and immaturity strains both Diana's and the reader's impatience at times, so it's fortunate that so many of the other characters prove to be likable and fun. While much is made of Diana's lack of grace, her bravery and genuine love of music make her admirable. Diana proves to be a thoroughly unique heroine, witty and completely loyal to those she loves.
