THE BLACK COLLEGIAN: Why do you think you were selected for this program? KYSHA: I had both undergraduate and graduate degrees in chemistry and materials science and I was pursing a Ph.D. in materials science engineering. So, I believe my academic background combined with my background in lab and research made me an attractive candidate. Also, I was looking to apply that lab research to an on-the-job experience.
