That small gesture led me to Tracy Kidders, Mountains Beyond Mountains, a nonfiction book focusing on the life and mission of Farmer.

The book is a gripping story of a doctor who has changed the face of global medicine and public health; particularly in impoverished countries like Haiti. Kidder tells Farmers life story using interviews, observations, and extensive first-hand.
