Blown away by the character arch’s and all!! Loved this book!! (I’ve hear negative reviews about Brimstone but my fingers are crossed!)

Rough in the early-mid, then gets very good
A very good book burdened by a few hundred pages of excruciatingly bad “enemies” nonsense after the MC goes through the portal. It’s worth powering through that, because it really does pick up and turn into an excellent fantasy novel once she’s allowed to be competent again and work through her issues with the male lead.
