After her release from Longshore Correctional Facility, Mo returns to a strange new world: she's been demoted, Katie and Des are barely talking, and the Midwest Guard Dogs have a suspiciously perfect conjurer named Yuji Ohka amidst their ranks.

There's little time for reflection, because one of the Order of Magic's top minds was recently slain out in the Appalachian wilds and all evidence points toward a rampant Strix Demon. Their mission brief is simple: the Mothman must be destroyed before it kills again.

For all the dramatic changes in her world, Morgan Burke understands destruction. Hopefully the locals won't mind a few smoldering craters along the way.
