So now things had developed.  It was an imposition on how to think.  A sporadic resistance did exist but only under the covers and that had been controlled.  Being realistic, nothing could challenge the might of the status quo.

For centuries, it was just normal to let powerful factions do what the hell they wanted.  Now was the same.  It could have been construed as business as usual, the political classes doing as they pleased with a vulnerable population.  Now, however, it was a little different.  The population was imprisoned by their own minds.

There could only be one source of action.  Let nature take its course.
