Michael Mann ,

Raise the titanic

Vintage Cussler. Good read. Brought back a good cold war tale crossed with perhaps the most famous shipwreck in history. Love all of the Dirk Pitt series. Wish they would make more into movies like Saharra.

This dude must get paid by the number of pages and words. It took many boring chapters before the word Titanic was even mentioned, and even then it was incidental to the main theme of recovering a rare element.

Each short chapter had a blank numbered page at it’s end, forcing the reader to flip a useless page about 85 times.

Lastly, it was my bad by not lookin at the publication date. The novel was so dated it didn’t even recognize that the ship had been discovered and explored several times since the book was written.

Raise the Titanic

This was the best of the first three Dirk Pitt adventure novels.
