Must Read!

Kiran Frey has fostered the next generation of volunteers, and in this book, she does a great job of displaying their work. It is amazing to see how a group of elementary schoolers have evolved their passion in philanthropy. I hope more individuals read this book, especially adults so they can foster the same kind of philantropic spirit in their kids!

Amazing Book!

This book is a perfect description of all that Chess Without Borders has accomplished over the years. It gives someone who is not part of this organization, a view of what are missions is as a whole and examples of how we achieve our goals. This book demonstrates how we are a tight group of volunteers eager to work together, but also shows how we are each encouraged to branch out and create our own entities under the Chess Without Borders umbrella to make a difference in the world. When I joined Chess Without Borders as a first grader, I could not comprehend the enormous impact this organization had. Now, ten years later, I am still amazed at the things we have achieved and the amount of food we have been able to do. This book is an incredible depiction of what it means to be a social entrepreneur and how you can become one.

Chess Without Borders

This book is a fantastic display of the excellent commitment to service that Chess Without Borders has always strived to achieve. It is truly a community initiative: everyone is involved in these wonderful causes, and we all pitch in to support others, whether it be school children in India or local victims of natural disasters. The standard of public service that Chess Without Borders sets is exceptionally high, both in the outcomes of our initiatives and the skills that are developed among volunteers. Chess Without Borders is training the next generation of social entrepreneurs to utilize the skills and passion they have developed for public service to serve our communities, and this book highlights the progress we have made in that regard.
