Rally Galaxy 2017/10

In Germany, the WRC returned to the tarmac for the tenth round of the season. After twisty vineyard stages on rainy Friday followed by sun-baked concrete tracks on the infamous military area of Baumholder, the last day of ADAC Rallye Deutschland offered mixed conditions on four very fast stages in the Saarland area close to Lake Bostal. Ott Tänak, who broke his career duck with victory in Italy in June, drove his Ford Fiesta to a 16.4sec victory over Andreas Mikkelsen while Sébastien Ogier finished third to move 17 points clear in the WRC standings after Thierry Neuville failed to score.
