I burned and I burned all night.

And in the morning, they found your name

Raqs is a collection of poems rich in imagery and blatantly expressive of love in all its glory and pain. The poet takes you on a journey of self-awareness, passion and an ascent towards divine love. Raqs brings together the divine and human, the mystical and the real, creating a tapestry of poetic images. Moving beyond one's own limitations, the poems surrender themselves in the open fields of love.
