Where the novel falters is in the time spent on Rath's training process, which just feels like filler. Fascinating
This book takes the old concept of hit men- perhaps dating back to ninja days- and thrusts it into the future. The plot follows the protagonist as he turns into a talented but lucky hit man who begins to question who he should be targeting. The characters, both good and bad are well described, and it is easy to see their motivations whether you agree with them or not. An engaging read that you will not be able to put down!
