This is a MUST read, QUICK read, CAN’T put down real life story of a 22-year old American Air Hero who though he could qualify as 4F (unfit for military service because of bleeding ulcers), hid his medical history and enlisted in the US Air Force shortly after Pearl Harbor and became a B-26 Martin Marauder Bomber pilot, flying 49 combat missions over Europe including two missions on D-Day where his plane got shot-up.
