When love cuts like a knife...

K19 Security Solutions partner, Tabon "Razor" Sharp has seen his fair share of tragedy, but one thing is for certain: he never forgets a face. Agreeing to be his buddy's groomsman means he'll once again reunite with the enchanting and gorgeous, Ava McNamara. Unable to finish what they started last time, he's more than ready to reignite the spark with Ava.

But the wedding brings on more than he bargained for. Meeting Ava's father throws a wrench into his plans. Her father isn't who he claims to be. And Razor is determined to uncover all the facts. Torn between exposing a criminal and protecting Ava, he struggles between duty and desire. Now, it's up to Razor to protect the woman with the haunted eyes even if it means destroying everything she's ever known. Will they recover from the truth or will Razor's cut wound her too deeply?

While each book in the K19 Security Solutions Series is a standalone with its own HEA, they may be more enjoyable read in order.

3.5 stars rounded up

When Razor is presented with a mission to protect the woman he can't seem to get out of his mind, does he agree or tell them no, as his friend Gunner keeps telling him? Of course Razor agrees, no one can protect Ava better than he can. If only he can keep his hands off her as he's protecting her...

I mostly liked this romantic suspense - 3.5 stars rounded up is fair. Razor and his fellow agents in K19 are all interesting, super alpha men who do their jobs better than anyone else. I had a big problem with Ava, though. I found her annoying and her inner thoughts were ridiculous. Aside from her, though, this is a good story with lots of action, steamy times, and a great cast of secondary characters all lead by Razor, whom I loved. I'm looking forward to more of this series, and hoping the next heroine is better than Ava.

Really tried

I really tried but just couldn’t read this book. The main characters were just so immature

Bored to death

The summary sounded awesome! The book sucked and wasn’t worth my time. Glad I didn’t pay for this garbage. There was too much fluf and unimportant junk. The book became hard to follow with all the small talk that had nothing to do with the story. There wasn’t enough chemistry between the characters.
