An anthology of gospel messages outlines in honor Joyce Ann Ritch's journey from birth into poverty and neglect, abandonment as a child, and betrayal as an adult to a Christian role model, spouse and homemaker without equal, prayer partner, best friend, supermom, and teacher of children whom she was equipping and sending to the future as "living messages." She embodied the living example of Proverbs 31, "virtuous woman."

She did more than any creed could ever do to make me "better" and, more than any fate could ever do, to make me "happy." She gave me total fulfillment.
