“Love is never out of reach for the librarians of the Nice Country Library System...Sarah's charm and humor are perfectly suited to a beach read.” --Publishers Weekly
Elementary school teacher and part-time librarian Sarah Mayhew has the perfect plan: show off her cycling skills at her school's bike retreat and attract her oblivious coworker in the process. Her end game? Fall in love. Only one problem: she needs to find someone to teach her how to ride a bike pronto. But when she catches sight of Chris Dean's gorgeous physique, her best laid plans are about to go off track . . .
Chris is not looking for a girlfriend. He's getting over his last one by focusing on his bike repair business. So when a feisty, sexy schoolteacher urges him to help improve her cycling skills, he does it strictly for the money. He vows he won't repeat history, even for a blonde bombshell like Sarah. But when the two find themselves alone on the road, they can't help taking a detour straight into each other's arms . . .
Love's never out of reach for the librarians of the Nice County Library System in Dade's fourth Lovestruck Librarians contemporary (following Mayday). It's summer time in Niceville, Md., and Sarah Mayhew, part-time librarian and elementary school art teacher, is determined to win the attention of the gym teacher by riding in a daylong biking event. However, her genuine fear of actually riding a bike creates a serious roadblock until she's introduced to Chris Dean, the proprietor of a recently opened bike repair shop. Using her flair for the dramatic to her advantage, Sarah talks Chris into teaching her to ride. To her surprise, he doesn't seem intimidated by her big personality, and she begins to wonder whether the gym teacher is the right guy to be pursuing. Dade's novella offers no surprises and isn't lengthy enough to delve too deeply into why Chris is so scarred from a past relationship, but Sarah's charm and humor are perfectly suited to a beach read.

Drama Queen Wants a Man
Rated 3.5 stars. This is the fourth book in the Lovestruck Librarians series. The series is about a group of friends who are librarians. If you read all the books, you have a better idea of who they all are. But each book can be read as a standalone and don't have a cliffhanger. The sex is hot and steamy so definitely 18+.
The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I'm not going to repeat all of that info here. The author did a good job of giving the two main characters, Sarah and Chris, real emotions and explaining their past relationship backgrounds in spite of this being a quick read. Be aware that this is an "insta-love" storyline and events move extremely quickly. This is a short book so settings and characters aren't always as well described or as developed as they could be. But you have to expect that in a short read and suspend your belief a little more than usual.
I did enjoy this story even with the insta-love storyline that isn't my normal cup of tea. Plus I am liking the series, maybe because of all the time I've spent in libraries over the years. I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
