Country music's bad boy, Boone Thrasher, takes center stage in New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author Meghan March's brand new stand alone Real Dirty Duet!
I have everything a guy could want—a new single burning up the charts, more money than a simple country boy could spend, and a woman I’m planning to marry.
Until she doesn’t show up for my proposal.
The life I thought was so perfect, isn’t.
The guy who thought he had everything, doesn’t.
I’ve got my heart on lockdown, but life sends me straight into the path of a mouthy bartender who puts me in my place.
Now the only place I want to put her is under me.
I thought I was done with love, but maybe I’m just getting started.
Real Dirty is the first book of the Real Dirty Duet. Boone's story concludes in Real Sexy, also available now!

Real Dirty was an intense, steamy and surprisingly emotional ride!
Hello my name is Michelle and I’m addicted to Meghan March’s books...
Real Dirty is the first in the Real Dirty Duet (book two, Real Sexy releases May 23rd) and features the story of Boone Thrasher. If you’ve followed these interconnecting DIRTY Series, then you’ve met Boone before, if not – don’t worry. You can read this a complete standalone.
Because I went into this having known Boone for a few books, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. I honestly paid him little attention before and the Boone in my head was 100% different than the Boone I met. Part of me wants to go back to the first mention to see how I ever pictured him as anything other than HAF. But I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered that Boone was a walking, talking HOT-AS-SIN alpha male.
Now the blurb tells you enough about this story, you can guess if that there is a little twist that comes early in the book. I mean, the Boone we knew was taken. But not this Boone – fresh off a major brush-off, Boone is balancing his newfound singlehood, the devastation of the breakup and trying to handle his handlers that are trying to manage all the PR angles.
But Boone isn’t the sort of guy that likes to be told what to do. I think one of the things I loved most about Boone was that he wasn’t just rough around the edges, he was so sharp you bled. But beneath that tough exterior was still a southern gentleman. It just took a bit to work those bits past his hard shell.
I’m gonna let you meet our heroine and not go into too much detail on her. She’s an utter surprise and I loved her to pieces. Feisty, strong and vulnerable – an intoxicating mix. Her story really turned this whole book from a hot-romantic romp into a deeper emotional read. These two had great chemistry and really played off each other well.
As for the heat of this book. Boone has a mouth on him. It was intense and steamy, and all the things we love about our romances. These two clashed and came together perfectly. And for those who, like me, are addicted to all things MM, then you know that there is also a bit of a twist mixed in. The slight hints at the backstory for our heroine were steady throughout the book. I loved that as the story progressed, my need to know ALL the things just grew. It was a great tease that hooked me, ensuring that I wasn’t going to be able to put it down until I had all the answers.
Another stellar release from March. Each book she releases just keeps getting better and better. Real Dirty was an intense, steamy and surprisingly emotional ride! From page 1 to page 250, I was hooked. Boone Thrasher won over my heart and a few other parts ;)
Now. Understand a few things. This is a duet. This means it is a story told over two books. So guess how book one is gonna end. But guess what – that adds to the excitement of book two, which releases just about twenty days later. So the wait is not going to kill you. I for one, can’t wait for book two. I loved the way the ending made me feel. I love that feeling of anticipating what is going to happen next.
If you haven’t read a March book before, trust me – you can start here. But I recommend that you venture back into the prior books to meet the whole cast of characters.
Boone is swoonworthy loved it
One Bar, one sexy as hell bartender Ripley, One I do as I want Boone trying to recover licking his wounded pride. These two meet and its on. I love a hot story with a past and a twist. Its Enough of a story to keep you going keeps you holding without throwing your kindle and ripping out your hair. Sexy does not do justice to describe our boy. He’s ALL man. Ripley she’s all give and she’s just about done. So great So easy I blinked and was finished and WHAT! NEED BOOK 2!
Country stars and family drama
I love how Ripley is independent and very relatable in what she is going through. Boone, despite being famous, is homegrown and very interested in Ripley. I enjoyed reading their first book.
