A New York Times Bestseller!
From Colleen Houck, New York Times bestselling author of The Tiger’s Curse, comes an epic Egyptian-inspired adventure about two star-crossed teens who must battle mythical forces and ancient curses on a journey with more twists and turns than the Nile itself!
When seventeen-year-old Lilliana Young enters the Metropolitan Museum of Art one morning during spring break, the last thing she expects to find is a live Egyptian prince with godlike powers, who has been reawakened after a thousand years of mummification.
And she really can’t imagine being chosen to aid him in an epic quest that will lead them across the globe.
But fate has taken hold of Lily, and she, along with her sun prince, Amon, must travel to the Valley of the Kings, raise his brothers, and stop an evil, shape-shifting god named Seth from taking over the world.
And don't miss new adventures with Lily in the rest of the Reawakened series: Recreated and Reunited!

PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
When high school senior Lilliana Young becomes mystically tethered to a resurrected Egyptian mummy, her upper-crust, micromanaged New York City lifestyle is turned upside down. Lilliana and Amon, the resurrected prince and carrier of the Eye of Horus, travel to Egypt in search of Amon's brothers, who are needed to complete a thousand-year-old ritual that will prevent Seth, the "Dark One," from rising. They meet the Grand Vizier, an archeologist devoted to helping the brothers, but trouble emerges in the form of an unknown necromancer who intercepts their every move with flesh-eating demons, poisonous dust, and zombies. Along the way, Lilliana must decide whether to sacrifice herself to prevent the world's "unmaking." In this series opener, Houck (the Tiger's Curse series) introduces a fantasy teeming with Egyptian characters and mythological stories come to life. Though the Amon's thematic metaphors ("My throat is as dry as a sandstorm in the desert") are trying, and the scenes between adventures can be tedious, Houck's moving depiction of the love between Lily and Amon is memorable. Ages 14 up.

AMAZING
AMAZING!!! Such a good author and the overall series was freaking fantastic
Colleen Houck does it again
I absolutely loved Reawakened. I heard about this book and thought, yay! Another book from Houck. I was worried about this book being too similar to Tigers Curse, but it wasn't. It still had the brave heroine, the hot prince, and a curse (in a different aspect), but the story was a great start for a new series. I absolutely loved the ending!!! Some may not understand why, but it's just a great way to continue the mystery of what to expect in book 2. Houck writing for Reawakened makes girls feel like they are part Indiana Jones, part Evy Oconnell. I LOVE learning the history in all her novels! Great book!!
LOVED IT
I love Colleen's books so much so I had high hopes for this one and they were met! On Amazon most of the reviews say it is terrible and the main character is so "Mary Sue". I strongly disagree. I could relate to Lily! I do well in school, my parents give me freedoms, and I like my clothing to be good quality. I do admit, at the beginning I did judge her because of how she lived and how most only-child-of-rich-parents turn out by quickly loved her! I don't know about Egyptian mythology, so it was a really cool read. Couldn't put the book down! I highly recommend this book!!
