3.5 stars if I could, Not as good as the first book
I went into book 2 of this series pretty excited because I thoroughly enjoyed the first one. However, the sci-fi aspect of this book skyrocketed in comparison to the first one, breaking things down into primary and sub simulations and using different lingo and terminology, and I found myself getting a bit lost and unable to keep things straight in my head. I made it through and understood the end of the story just fine, but during the majority of the book I found myself as confused as Taven was when trying to understand what was happening around him. I found the story to still be creative as it was in the first book, and the story kept you engaged. There again were persistent spelling and grammatical errors throughout just like in book 1 that I wish the editors would’ve caught. Depending how many books are left in the series, I may read book 3, but if it goes beyond 3 books I will probably cut it loose. I would’ve been perfectly satisfied stopping after book 1.
awesome book
This is the 2nd in the series and I am hooked on this! This book is even better than #1 and I loved that one as well. Taven is a great character and the story is so compelling.
