Not bad
This book can be read as a stand alone and does not end in a cliffhanger. A couple of things are left unresolved to make a smooth transition to the next book in the series but I didn’t feel like I was left hanging for the answers.
Not a standalone
This is part 1 of a 9 book series (at least as of this time).
If you like the book and the genre, boxed sets can be purchased instead of getting them one by one.

Fascinating! I was hooked from the start. Thank you for a great read.
