In this book we meet a teenage Matt and Evie from Hot Pursuit. It is a prequel novella for that book. Evie has been in love with Matt for years. They are a year apart in age and have been friends since they were six and seven. When they became teenagers he started distancing himself from her, and she just wants him to realize that they belong together. This is a good book and it it was nice to see where their story began.
