Other Review is Correct
The storyline is engaging enough but the books are unforgivably short and getting shorter. Finished book 3 and it’s literally half the pages of comparable series. Book 4 appears to be even shorter. Simply not worth the money.

Exposition ad nauseam. I found myself skipping page after page of tedious irrelevant detail throughout this series. I kept hoping for plot advancement and finally realized it’s intentional foot dragging throughout.
Don’t waste your money and time. It’s formatted to drain your pocket and string you along forever.
