Red Barn Tales

Red Barn Tales is the inspiring story of the author's life growing up in the beautiful city of Lavonia, Georgia throughout the late '70s, '80s, and '90s. Aspiring to become a veterinarian from a very early age, he first came to work at Lavonia Animal Hospital as an impressionable young boy of twelve and later lived and worked at the clinic while attending college. Mixed with equal parts warmth, humor, and emotion, his stories provide an inspirational glimpse into the lives of the wonderful clients and animals he helped treat at a rural veterinary practice under the influence of one of the greatest veterinarians ever to practice the profession, Dr. Patrick Hitchcock.
