It’s been a decade since Austin and Cass went their separate ways, and after putting their romance to rest, the inevitable happened: Years went by. Life went on.

Now, it’s the spring of 1997, and things have taken a downhill dive for California dweller Austin Rose. First, it was a broken engagement, followed by unexpected news from a close friend and an upsetting call from a grandparent. Those events, along with feeling homesick, ultimately lead Austin back to the place she’s always called home.
