Publisher Description
I am passionate about living. I realize each second is precious. I know my own happiness is my responsibility, no one else’s. I make choices. Each choice has a cost and a consequence. My goal is to be the freest, most carefree man on this watery planet. I am willing to pay a high price for this freedom—my very life, if need be.
This isn’t a traditional cruising yarn about sailing a small yacht from Point A to Point B. Instead, it is a celebration of A Way of Life—in all its messy, salt-stained glory. I embrace Mother Ocean. I kiss life full on the lips. I worship freedom above all else. I prefer to live where there are no laws, no in-laws, no rules, no police, no glad-handing politicians, no ATMs, and no plastic trinkets for sale. I don’t want nor need what everyone else has—piles of useless crap stashed ashore.

A fantastic read!
As having lived in the Sinai for over a year, I fully feel Fatty’s pain and frustration with the Egyptian culture. I too will NEVER return I Egypt. There is not enough Bahksheesh in the world to persuade me.
However, the Red Sea is a beautiful place with amazing reefs and a vastly colorful history. This book accurately describes the “nice” places to visit.
I relish Capt’n Fatty’s tale of his adventures there.
