Designer Josephine Stewart is used to being dismissed. Okay, making fashion from trash is strange, and her obsession with the art form and its potential to shed light on fashion's role in climate change and disease rates does have her wrapped tight like a roll of caution tape. But if Josephine only had enough funds to launch an upcycled fashion house, she could finally escape her abusive boss and spotlight fast fashion's toxic legacy. Her gallerist supports her.
